Inclusivity Keynote

February 2010

It has been confirmed that Patrick will be a Keynote Speaker at the 5th Cambridge Workshop on Universal Access and Assistive Technology.

 

The event, which is organised and hosted by the University of Cambridge, will take place from 22 to 25 March 2010. It focuses on ensuring that people with disabilities have full access to products, services and the built environment and features leading international experts in this area.

 

Patrick said, “I am delighted to have been invited to give the keynote at this event. It is essential that people with disabilities have access to the same advantages as others in society and this workshop brings together experts who are dedicated to achieving that aim.”

 

Patrick is founder of Include, the world’s leading conference on accessibility, which is hosted biannually at the Royal College of Art.

CIPD Conference

February 2010

Patrick will be speaking at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) West of England Conference. It has now been confirmed that the event will take place on Friday 26 February 2010 at the Canalside Conference Centre near Bridgwater.

In his talk Patrick will be looking at the secrets of success and effectiveness in the workplace. He will identify the attitudes, behaviours and qualities that characterise successful people and explain how we can develop these qualities ourselves and instil them in our workforce.

He said, “In these difficult times it is essential that we perform at the top of our game. If we understand the principles of success and implement them in our lives then we can continue to thrive however tough things may be.”

'Inspired Lives' Radio Show

February 2010

Patrick is now hosting a radio show called Inspired Lives. The show, which is broadcast once or twice a month on 10 Radio, features guests who have achieved extraordinary success in their field.

 

He said, “The guests on the show are people who have set a tremendous example with respect to setting goals and showing the tenacity and determination to see them through. The aim is to inspire listeners to set their own goals and to learn the secrets of success from these extraordinary people.”

 

The shows are available worldwide through the internet and on FM radio within the south-west of England. They air from 11 to 12 on Friday mornings and are repeated at 7 to 8 on Monday evenings. We will post details of upcoming shows as they are confirmed.
