Monterry Design Week 2009

Patrick will be a keynote speaker at this year’s Design Week in Mexico. The event will be held from 9 to 13 November in Monterrey and features an international line up of speakers.
Patrick said, “This is an inspirational event and I am delighted to have been invited to contribute to it. As well as giving my own talk I will be listening intently to what the other speakers have to say. They have a great line up and it’s a wonderful opportunity for all attendees to keep up with the latest developments in how to be successful at design, marketing and brand positioning.”
Principles of Success Workshop
November 2009
It has been announced that Patrick will be running a workshop on the Principles of Success. It will be held at the University of Winchester on Saturday, 5 December 2009.
The workshop is about how to achieve success, wellbeing and fulfilment, both in our careers and personal lives. It outlines five key principles derived from the scientific psychology literature and gives practical tools for applying them.
Patrick said, “I am delighted that we are able to host this workshop. The principles represent the work of many of the world’s leading psychologists and have been packaged in a form that is easy to understand and apply. I trust that it will be of great value to delegates, both professionally and personally.”

Speech and Workshop in Finland
November 2009
It has been confirmed that Patrick will be giving a speech and workshop in Oulu, Finland in January of next year. The speech will be an address to the region’s leading industrialists and entrepreneurs and will focus on successful innovation, while the workshop will focus on how to develop a successful public sector.
The event is being organised by Oulu Southern Institute, who are responsible for promoting both industry and public services in the region.
Record Audience Figures for Morning Show
November 2009
The BBC has announced record listening figures for The Morning Show on Radio Somerset.
Patrick is a regular guest on the show, on which he discusses the principles of success and gives a psychologist’s perspective on the topical issues of the day.
He said, “The latest viewing figures for the Morning Show are very encouraging and represent a 50% year on year increase in audience. This is a tribute to all those involved in the show and especially host Emma Britton who brings warmth, humour and insight to the proceedings. It is always a pleasure and a privilege to be invited to take part.”
