The Principles of Success
February 2009

Patrick will be speaking at the 2nd Annual Conference on Applied Positive Psychology which will be held at Warwick University from 1st to 3rd April this year.
His talk is entitled The Psychology of Success and analyses the attitudes and behaviours that characterise successful businesses, organizations and individuals.
Patrick said, “In my career so far I have had the privilege of working with some extremely successful companies, organisations and people. In this presentation I identify the key traits that they have in common. Understanding and applying these traits is the key to success in business and, indeed, in all areas of life.”

Ethical Consumerism and Textiles
February 2009
It has been announced that Patrick will be an invited speaker at this year’s Textile Forum South West Annual Conference which will be held in Taunton on 21st March.
The conference is entitled ‘Textile Footprint’ and focuses in particular on issues such as ethics and sustainability in textile design and production. Patrick will speak about the rise of ethical consumerism and look at organisations who have succeeded in producing textiles in an ethical manner.
He says, “Over recent years there has been a dramatic increase in the demand for ethically produced products and services and that includes textiles. People are often prepared to pay more for textile-based products that are ethically produced so it makes sense both financially and morally.”
