Lecture Tour Completed
December 2009

Patrick has returned home after a month-long lecture tour speaking about personal and business success. The tour involved a total of ten events in Mexico, Sweden and the UK and included addressing an audience of almost 2000 in Monterrey. Talks included: The Principles of Success, The Four Pleasures and An Innovators Guide to the 21st Century.
He said, “It is always a great pleasure to go out on the road and meet people. Over the last month I have been very encouraged, not only from the positive responses to the talks, but also because I have learned so much both from the discussions with the audience and from people I have met at the events.”
Patrick will be available for talks, workshops and other events throughout 2010. If you would like Patrick to speak at your event please contact us.
Central St. Martins Workshop
December 2009
It has been confirmed that Patrick will be leading a workshop at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design. The workshop will look at how to understand customers and how to use this understanding to create products, services, brands and marketing campaigns that will be a success in the marketplace.
Patrick said, “Understanding customers and addressing their needs should be at the heart of any company’s strategy. I am working with Central St Martins to help give students awareness of these issues and to appreciate the importance of putting people’s needs at the centre of what they do.”
Brunel University Lectures
December 2009
Patrick will be giving three guest lectures at Brunel University next semester. Between them they will cover a wide variety of issues including how to create emotionally engaging designs and marketing campaigns, and designing for people with disabilities.
Patrick said, “The design courses at Brunel are among the most thorough and forward-thinking in the world and I regard it as a great privilege to be involved with the University. I have lectured on the undergraduate courses for many years now, but next year will also be involved with the master’s courses which is a challenge that I am really looking forward to.”
Innovation Workshops at CEDIM
December 2009
Patrick has been invited to give two workshops at CEDIM in Mexico during the first quarter of 2010. The workshops are each two weeks long and will concentrate on the subject of innovation.
Patrick said, “CEDIM is a centre of excellence for art, design and business and I am delighted to have been invited to share my experience with them. We are seeing some excellent work coming out of Mexico at the moment and CEDIM has established itself as arguably the leading school in Latin America in this area.”
